History of MFA Ex-Cadet Association
Ex-Cadet Association of Marine Fisheries Academy was formed by the
pioneers of Bangladesh Marine Fisheries Academy Ex-Cadets after the
Independence of Bangladesh.
This is a registered association for Bangladesh Marine Fisheries Academy Cadets those are just passed out or serving in Fishing Vessel and Merchant Navy as a Marine Officers,Engineers and Cadets in
Bangladesh and International fleet and also ashore in Maritime related
industries and others.
The Association is a self motivated voluntary organization having no
paid executives. It has been safeguarding the interests and well being
of seafaring officers. The primary role of this association is to look after
members; employment and working conditions through the terms and
conditions as per agreements as available, protects the rights of seafarers, provides assistance to those in need, upkeep seafarers’ interest
and add value to the Maritime community.
Recently initiatives taken to re-write the constitution re-structure and
re-organize the association in order to cope up with the demand of the
time.
